The Crowd Buster

June 13, 2011

Advanced Weapons Technology Incorporated announced its new tactical riot control system called The Crowd Buster. This new non-lethal system is designed to disperse rioters as a primary line of defense against aggressive mobs as part of a non-lethal response to "peaceful" demonstrations that become belligerent or display hostile intent towards military or police lines.

Used in wide spread street or correctional riots The Crowd Buster fires highly irritating pepper spray at the rioters in the form of either a micro pellet fog or a directed stream up to 150 feet causing  immediate disorientation and disabling the individual’s abilty to function.

In addition The Crowd Buster can release in indelible dye, marking participants and allowing identification of participants at future dates. This ability acts as a deterrent against repeat offenders gathering with anonymity and allows security forces to monitor crowds at future dates in order to establish patterns and isolate leaders of civil unrest.

The micro pellet fog also provides a non-lethal masking shield to prevent rioters from attacking police lines and unlike gas canisters they cannot be thrown back into police controlled areas.

Used as a first tactical response, the wide field of coverage of The Crown Buster eliminates the need for direct physical confrontations between insurgent’s and police and limits the need for more aggressive actions of crowd control thereby limiting injuries to both police and demonstrators.
